The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineerto join a fast growing and talented team, working both to enhance our industry leading products and develop new projects. Reporting to the head of software development, the role will involve:

  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, support, training and upskilling of development team members in relation to software development best practices, in order to achieve a high performing environment;
  • Leading by example on all aspects of software development; design (architectural and detailed), project planning, coding (primarily in C++), test, documentation etc. for platform independent applications;
  • Leading and assisting project teams with achieving on-target, on-quality delivery;
  • Providing technical support and product expertise to internal and external customers; 
  • Management and improvement of processes and adherence to industry standards.

The Person
Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years commercial development experience in C++ including C++11 and STL;
  • Proven track record in multiple aspects of software development;
  • Excellent communication and team working skills; 
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and helping others develop.


  • Knowledge of development tools e.g. Jira, Qt, CMake;
  • Knowledge of operating systems Windows, Linux & macOS;
  • Knowledge of networking technologies (routers, switches and firewalls);
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices;
  • Experience with Unit Testing;
  • Experience or understanding of agile and scrum methodologies.
