Titania Opens New Offices | Titania

Thursday the 20th of November is an exciting day for Titania. After 4 successful years, the software development company is moving to new offices which the Rt Hon Francis Maude will be opening.

As part of a cyber security campaign, in the lead up to Cyber Monday, the busiest day of online shopping of the year, the Minister for cyber security will be traveling across the UK to raise awareness of increasing threats. After a morning at the Cybersecurity Summit 2014, where he will discuss the latest innovations and strategies in improving the UK’s cyber defence, Francis Maude joins Titania in the afternoon for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and to deliver a speech.

The office opening is an opportunity for Titania to thank their friends and colleagues in the business community for their support, and also to celebrate the achievements of all the businesses that are thriving in the Worcestershire area.

The event will also include entertainment courtesy of Worcestershire LitFest & Fringe, a local organisation run entirely by volunteers that Titania proudly sponsors. Worcestershire Poet Laureate, Fergus McGonigal and Poet Laureate Emeritus, Maggie Doyle will be providing the guests with a few selected performances.

Titania was founded 5 years ago by one information security professional, Ian Whiting, who wanted to replace the sometimes repetitive and time-consuming audit and report writing side of penetration testing with software that automates much of the network device auditing process. The Network Infrastructure Parser, developed by Ian, evolved into Nipper Studio, Titania’s flagship and most successful product.

The software proved popular with auditors and penetration testers and it soon became a widespread choice for government institutions, military and intelligence agencies. The private sector market has also continued to grow as more and more CIOs /information security staff in finance, technology and telecommunications have found out about the tool.

Next, Titania’s Professional Auditor for Workstations and Servers, Paws Studio, was developed as a compliance assessment tool for workstations and servers. Designed with a similar purpose, to facilitate the work of auditors, Paws Studio produces compliance reports that are generated in seconds and can be easily interpreted by security auditors as well as management.

Five years, and countless awards later, Titania has a new home where it will continue to develop and deliver trusted solutions to a community of information security professionals in over 60 countries.
